This is Terri Avila, Paloma Avila's mom (you taught her piano many, many years ago). I just received a notice that you posted something on LinkedIn and, weirdly enough, I was *literally* thinking about you when I received it! For real!. Paloma is at NYU Tisch studying acting/writing/directing, but she remains a piano player (and now a guitar player). She writes music ALL THE TIME, and I credit you with giving her the building blocks to understand how to put music together. We are in NYC visiting her -- and last night, I went to an amazing piano bar. The young man playing the piano had your ability to play nearly anything -- and sing nearly anything. I thought I would drop in for a few songs and I ended up staying until it closed! Anyways -- just wanted to say thank you for influencing Paloma (and me) and bringing piano back into my life!
